What are the system requirements

How can I install DC Photo Organizer? |
|

If
Autorun doesn't work on your computer, you can right-click
on the Drive containing the CD, choose "Open" and double-click
"Setup.exe" to run the Installation Program.
Alternatively, you can also select the "Run..." option
of the "Start" menu and type: D:\Setup.exe, replacing
D: with your CD-ROM drive.

Where is the Product Key? |
|
|
You can
find the Product Key on the back of the enclosed CD jewel
case.

Do I need to register the software
in AvailaSoft Website? |

For your
convenience, the completed Product Registration Form in
the installation process will be automatically sent to
our Online Product Registration Center for product registration
when the Internet is connected.
The "Product Registration" section of our website is for
special customers only, you don't need to use it unless
you are instructed by our staff to do so.

I can't run "General Tutorial" of
DC Photo Organizer. What should I do? |

Since Macromedia Flash Player
is not installed on your computer, you may have problem
with running "General Tutorial". Please note that over
90% of computers are already installed with Macromedia
Flash Player. Please go to http://www.macromedia.com to
download the latest Macromedia Flash Player.

What is the use of "Photo Organizer"?
|
|
|
"Photo
Organizer" is a folder used for keeping your general photos
(*.jpg) for centralized management and processing. The
operation of "Photo Organizer" is similar to that of a
folder in Windows. In DC Photo Organizer, you will mainly
use "Photo Organizer" for handling most of your photos.
|
|
|
What is the use of "Photo Protector"? |
|
|
"Photo Protector" is a password-protected folder used
for keeping your private and secret photos (*.jpg) for
centralized management. You can create folders in "Photo
Protector". Then you can move your private and secret
photos to these folders.
By logging out "Photo Protector" all photos (*.jpg) of
"Photo Protector" will be encrypted. You can hide "Photo
Protector" for better privacy protection. Without entering
correct User Name and Password, no one can open it.

What is the use of "Background Music"?
|
|
|
"Background Music" is a folder used for keeping your
music files (*.wma, *.mp3) that can be played during viewing
photos (from AlbumView, Autorun Page-Flipping Album CD
or Digital Album File).
|
|
|
Photo Protector is hidden now. How
can I unhide it? |
|
|
When you want to show it again, you can right-click
on the empty (blank) area of the "Folder-Album" section
and choose "Unhide Photo Protector" on the right-click
menu.
|
|
|
How can I decrypt the encrypted photo
files (*.epg) created by "Photo Protector" of DC Photo
Organizer? |
|
|
For security purpose, you need to re-install DC Photo
Organizer, set the same User Name and the same Login Password
for "Photo Protector" and then copy these encrypted photo
files (*.epg) to "Photo Protector" for decrypting them.
For system stability, you can ONLY copy *.epg files to
"Photo Protector" by right-clicking selected *.epg files
to choose "Copy to Photo Protector" on right-click menu.
Note: "Copy to Photo Protector" function for *.epg files
will work ONLY when Photo Protector is in LOGOUT state.

What is the use of "Index" numbers
for photos in DC Photo Organizer? |
|
|
All photo files in DC Photo Organizer are auto-indexed
and arranged. The viewing sequence of photos of an album
(from AlbumView, Autorun Page-Flipping Album CD or Digital
Album File) is based on their respective "Index" numbers.
To set your preferred viewing sequence for photos of an
album, you just need to drag photos to different positions
to rearrange their "Index" numbers.

How can I rearrange "Index" numbers
of my photos in DC Photo Organizer? |
|
|
You can drag a photo up and down to another position
to rearrange its "Index" number. You can also select several
photos and drag them to another position to rearrange
their "Index" numbers altogether. In this way, you can
set your preferred viewing sequence for photos of an album
efficiently and effectively.

What is the use of AlbumView? |
|
|
AlbumView allows you to enjoy viewing photos of each
Photo Album in your preferred sequence. By moving your
photos into different subfolders, different Photo Albums
can be created. Then you can set your preferred viewing
sequence for photos of each album by rearranging their
"Index" numbers.
You can drag a photo up and down to another position to
rearrange its "Index" number. You can also select several
photos and drag them to another position to rearrange
their "Index" numbers altogether. In this way, you can
set your preferred viewing sequence for photos of an album
efficiently and effectively.

Can I rearrange the display sequence
of folders (or albums) in "Folder-Album" section? |
|
|
Yes. All folders and albums in DC Photo Organizer are
auto-indexed and arranged. The display sequence of folders
(or albums) in "Folder-Album" section is based on their
respective "Index" numbers.
To set your preferred display sequence, you just need
to drag folders (or albums) to different positions to
rearrange their "Index" numbers.

The display setting of my computer
is 800x600 screen area and the interface of DC Photo Organizer
is too big for operation. What should I do? |
|
|
The recommended
display setting for DC Photo Organizer is 1024x768 screen
area. You can right-click on empty area of your Desktop,
choose "Properties" on right-click menu, select "Setting"
subject and set "Screen Area" to be 1024x768 on the "Settings"
dialog.

The displayed colors of the interface
of DC Photo Organizer are poor in my computer. What should
I do? |
|
|
The recommended
display setting for DC Photo Organizer is 16-bit or above.
You can right-click on empty area of your Desktop, choose
"Properties" on right-click menu, select "Setting" subject
and set "Colors" to be 16-bit or above on the "Settings"
dialog.

After editing a photo file in DC
Photo Organizer by a default program and saving it, the
displayed photo and its information is not updated on
the interface of DC Photo Organizer. What should I do? |

Since DC
Photo Organizer may not detect the updated photo file
done by other programs, you can press "Refresh" button
to refresh the interface of DC Photo Organizer.

Why can’t DC Photo Organizer process
image files of format *.tif, *.gif and *.bmp? |
|
|
The vast
majority of photo files are in *.jpg or *.jpeg format.
DC Photo Organizer provides you with an efficient and
effective platform to manage millions of your photos.
To avoid any confusion and ensure program stability, only
photo files of *.jpg format and music files of (*.wma,
*.mp3) format are allowed to be passed to DC Photo Organizer
for processing.
