formatted drive. By using "Securely Delete",
you can irrecoverably delete files and folders to fully
protect your privacy.

What does PC Cleaner of WinTools
do? |
|
|
Most people
do not realize that Windows operating systems, Internet
Explorers and many other application programs store redundant
information on your hard drive. Not only does this information
affect your computer performance by occupying extra memory
but it also causes a potential crisis to your privacy.
When someone accesses your computer, no matter it's an
intruder, a hacker, your I.T. administrator or anyone
sharing your computer, they can use this information to
find out what websites you have visited, which pictures
you have viewed, what documents you have used and much
more.
PC Cleaner is used for cleaning up all this redundant
information on your computer, enhancing your system performance,
saving your system resources and protecting your privacy.
|
|
|
Does PC Cleaner of WinTools erase
program files or system files? |
|
|
No! PC Cleaner will only safely erase unimportant temp
files and redundant system information to protect your
privacy and enhance system performance.
|
|
|
Why can't PC Cleaner fully clean
up the selected item(s)? |
|
|
Since PC Cleaner doesn't clean objects that are still
necessary for Windows, the selected item(s) may not be
fully cleaned up.

computer, you may have problem with running "WinTools
General Tutorial". Please note that over 90% of computers

|
What is the difference between *.zip
files created by WinZip and *.zip files created by WinTools? |
|
|
The sizes of *.zip files created by WinTools are generally
less than that of *.zip files created by WinZip. However,
WinTools can decompress *.zip files created by WinZip
and WinZip can also decompress *.zip files created by
WinTools.
|
|
|
Why aren't some files compressed
very much? |
|
|
Some types of files can be compressed much more than
others. For example, *.txt and *.bmp files can be generally
compressed by up to 96%. Various multimedia files (e.g.
*.gif, *.jpg, *.wma, *.mpg files) are already highly compressed
because the standards for these file types specify efficient
technique to compress the content. Once a file has been
compressed, it typically cannot be compressed again to
any significant extent. As a result, such files don't
get very much smaller when they are compressed by WinTools.
